♥ FINAL FANTASY XIII ♥

  • Dec. 27th, 2009 at 1:05 AM
Ahah! First of all, look at my icon! *points* Lightning is so pretty! ♥♥♥ Lol, I've never fangirl over female characters except Naoto from Persona4 and the real person Saiga Mitsuki-sama. I LOVE female characters that are boy-ish and tough.

At first I was not really anticipating for this game because my opinion towards SE's FF series is Duh. The same and complicated story again. ._. Yes, I know how foolish I was at that time, spouting those words from my mouth. But my opinion towards FFXIII changed after I watched the trailer. The graphics, as expected from those SE prodigies, ARE WORTH DROOLING OVER. I mean I never like any FF girls in previous series but Lightning kicks ass. >D Moreover, I am happy to know she is voiced by Sakamoto Maaya. It is true that Maaya-san had voiced Aerith from FFVII but this time she isn't using the same sweet tone she used to voice Aerith. I like her Ciel's tone she used to voice Lightning which suits Lightning's personality well. According to Wiki, she discarded her real name (hence the codename LIGHTNING) after her parents' death. I believe she doesn't speak much in the game too unless necessary. Sounds like a female Cloud much? XD Nomura Tetsuya-sensei even described Lightning as "not very feminine" lol.

Instead of continuing my rambling of Lighting, I'll proceed with a gameplay. The video below is originally owned and recorded by Master LL, a pro gamer. Heck, you'll know why I call him "pro" after watching the gameplay. I suggest FFXIII fans to watch his XIII videos because he explained things thoroughly. I know some of you are having troubles with the battle system, right? XD

zomg look at Lightning! So badass!

Random pictures spam under the cut. Beware of the sizes! (yea, it can't be helped cuz I love giant pictures gyahahah) )

KL again

Didn't go there for four days to attend CF this time. I do want to though. *sobsob* My cousin's wedding was held on the same day as CF event started (19th December) so, I couldn't attend it. Seeing my cousin getting married is nice. Uncle and Aunt are surely happy to see their daugther is married to a man whom they can trust on. Congratulations to both Adik Noni and Adik Azrul (I am supposedly to call him by this name. o_o)! May God bless them.

My sis and I took the chance to go to Kino after the akad nikah. Those elders from Langkawi wanted to buy some stuff but I didn't have anything to buy if I follow them. Kino is my only destination when I go to KL. I gotta say I hate traffic jam so much. We were stucked on the road for a few minutes. Man, that's also why I hate KL. -_- I know people say it is ordinary to get into traffic jams if we go to KL but I really hate it. Even though it was not me driving the car, I got annoyed when we were stucked on the crowded road. By the way, I bought 07-GHOST OFFICIAL ARTBOOK at Kino. I wanted to use my own money but... TT-TT Sorry Mom, I never intended to use your money. If only I have enough money...

A wedding day is supposedly to be a happy day but it didn't turn out to be so on my cousin's wedding. So here's the misunderstanding. My brother was the driver for Adik Noni. He told us that the decoration on the car was a nuisance because he couldn't see anything when he drives. We, the convoy for Adik Noni, went back to her home after the wedding finished. Nobody told him not to take off the decorations on the bride's car before he and Adik Noni went to FRIM to take some photos. There was a tense in the air when Aunt found out he already took off the decorations. People started blaming my brother but I think it was not fair. I heard it was Aunt that made the request not to take off the decorations but she told the convoy right after the wedding finished. Surely they will not listen to her because they were too busy. Sometimes adults are the ones to put in the blame. :/ I am disappointed because they kept blaming brother. Thanks to God though, the problem was settled. Phew.

Yesterday, we went back to Alor Setar. Nothing is better than going back to hometown. Dad, Mom, Kakcik & me rode the same car. Dad and Mom were chit-chatting about random stuff that I didn't know. However, one of their conversations catch my interest. It was about my other cousin, Abang Shafirul. Dad said he's suffering an illness that once again I didn't know. I think it is men's illness that only men know. Dad also told Mom that someone cast black magic on him. I was suprised to hear that of course. The first thing came on my mind was maybe someone is interested in his wife, Kak Ruby. If not that, maybe he holds a grudge against him or that person wants to cast the black magic on another person but apparently, it was casted on Abang Shafirul. There are many possibilites. I just hope his condition will get better. It was scary to hear something terrible happened to a person close with my family. I know it is not good to eavesdrop but if this is something serious, I should at least know something. Pfft, although adults always say children shouldn't know about their stuff.

Went to Penang...

  • Dec. 14th, 2009 at 12:55 AM
It has been a long time since I went somewhere far from home. Going to convenience stores is not counted as FAR from home in my dictionary. Dad, sis and me went to Penang to fetch our maid. It is nice to have her working again in our house because she takes good care of grandma. Although it's unfortunate for her to separate from her family for a long time. Sorry, Kak Wati. ._. I'm sure she'll miss her two little princes back at Medan.

The drive to Penang was rather... awkward. None of us except Father started saying something random to start a conversation. I did not know what to talk about and remained silent all the time. At the same time, Dad noticed a guy with his big motorcycle. It kinda remind me of those American Choppers dudes with their motorcycles. Apparently, I also noticed their jackets stated the text "HARLEY DAVIDSON". ROFL, I couldn't help thinking of Kagura with her "HARLEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY... DAVIDSONNNNNNNNNNN!!!" stance when I saw it. XD

When we arrived at the airport, we decided to take a bite at Kenny Rogers. I didn't remember how many times I've eaten there but who cares? XD I do remember that my family used to eat at Kenny Rogers when I was a child. Smelling the fragrance of their chickens already made me hungry. The Bolognese spaghetti I ordered was good (but I think Mom's spaghetti is the best!). Moreover, I love their Americano coffee. I was thinking of drinking the cheapest coffee, by the way. The waitress was like "Are you sure you want this? It tastes bitter" when I ordered the Americano coffee. Miss, you just doesn't know how much I love bitter coffee. XD Even my Dad was surprised to know I drink the whole coffee when he wanted a sip. Sorry Dad, although you told me your mocha tastes sweet. :P
